You can do that by setting up your Orbi router as an Access Point. The instructions mentioned below will help you know how to connect Orbi router to MicroTik router and set it up an AP:

• Join the LAN port of the MicroTik router to the Orbi router’s Internet port via an Ethernet cable.
• Switch on both devices.
• Launch an internet browser on a computer that is connected to your Orbi router network.
• Go to orbilogin.net.
• As soon as the login popup shows up, you must enter the username and password.

The username is admin by default and the password will be the one that you specified during the setup process. In case you are setting up the router for the first time, enter password into the Password field.

• The BASIC Home page will appear on the computer screen.
• Go to the ADVANCED tab from the menu and select Advanced > Router/AP Mode.
• A new page will show up.
• You should select the AP Mode radio button now.
• You will be asked to select one option for your Orbi router IP whether you want to “Get Dynamically from Existing Router” or “Enable Fixed IP Settings on this Device”.
• Click the Apply option.

The process of connecting an Orbi WiFi router to a MicroTik switch is not a difficult task. Just make sure that your switch is unmanaged and it is connected to a modem. • Connect the Ethernet port of your switch to the Internet port of your Orbi router.
• The connection should be stable.

• Launch the Netgear Orbi app on a mobile phone connected to your Orbi WiFi router network.
• If you are first-time user, the app will ask you to create a Netgear account.
• Use your email ID and password for that.
• Log in to the router.

• In case your mobile gets disconnected from the router, reconnect using new WiFi details.
